Hosting your very own Twilight Dinner Party!

Ever since I read the books I was super hooked on Twilight! I was even more thrilled when they made the movies, which is what drove me to host a twilight dinner party. It was a small, private gathering between 4 close girlfriends that all share the love of the vamps. In this blog I'll show tips, tricks, and pics on how we did it. I'll also share my fabulous EASY chicken parmesan reciepe that is famous in my house hold. First of all let me say that I cant take all the credit myself. My sister & Cousin & I all did our share to make it such a cute memorable dinner & I also have to thank this website which is where we got the print outs for our frames. Twilight8x10   We had so many more ideas but not enough time or funds so we made the best of it and I must say it turned out perfect! Anywho here are some pictures...
This banner was easily printed out and connected together with a red ribbon. Simple easy, cute!

Those were some of the 8x10 and 5x7 print outs from that website. We got lucky because we already had the black frames but it's pretty easy to find them even at like a dollar store. Tea lights and oil burners were purchased by moi at the dollar store along with the yummy apple scent. The little crystal looking gems are from party city. You can find them at any craft store too.
Nothing got our night started and ended than good wine. We had red, blush, & dessert. Blush and dessert are my favorite! Those were also print outs from the website I provided. Just gotta poke through it. See my boyfriend back there?

We tried to stay in theme by wearing the colors ( I had a team Jacob shirt) As you can see the dinner table couldnt have been set up anymore perfect. My cousin is to thank because she already owns the black and white dinnerwear and silver placemats. We just added some touches, candles, tealights those 2 beautiful red maritni glasses & crystals. The center piece was pretty easy.  clear vase, crystals, an upside down rose and a floating candle. Looked awsome at night when we lit the candle! The Menu I made myself. I tried to make it a little bigger so you can actually read it so I hope it worked. The red candes and holders are also from the dollar store.
Now, for my Chicken Par Recipe!
You will need:
8 boneless chicken breast
1 big can of *Hunts* roasted garlic sauce
Parmesan cheese
Garlic Powder
1 whole bag of motzerella cheese
baking pan
Progresso italian bread crumbs
One egg
3/4 milk
& a large ziplock bag

Mix one egg and 3/4 milk in a mixing bowl. Place a nice amount of bread crumbs in the ziplock. Coat each chicken breast in the egg mix, stick in ziplock, shake to cover with crumbs. Fry on medium heat just enough so that it looks light brown ( doesnt have to be fully cooked because your baking it after) Put all fried chicken in greased pan. Preheat oven to 350. Add sauce all over the chicken. Add a lot of parmesan cheese over sauce. Add ALL the motzerella cheese then for a finishing touch add some garlic powder on top. Bake for 30 mins and the last 5 switch to broil and voila!
Those of you who like to eat it with pasta, just boil some spagetti add sauce and your done.

Now I dont have a pic but my garlic bread is simple and always a huge succes.
You will need:
French bread loaf or cuban
garlic powder
Basil
a stick of butter
a bowl

Simple.. melt the stick of butter 50 seconds in microwave or until fully melted. Add some garlic powder and basil ( dont overdo the basil, it can be spicy) Mix & your done. Cut the loaf into slices and serve toasted then have the garlic mix there for dipping.

Hope you enjoy =) -Dee
